Refund Policy
How Axiom Charts LLC handles refund-related questions for subscriptions, one-time purchases, and checkout issues processed through Paddle.
Last updated: 2026-04-03
Scope and Relationship to Checkout Terms
This Refund Policy explains the general refund posture for purchases made from Axiom Charts LLC ("Axiom Charts," "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
If a specific trial period, refund window, or other checkout-related refund term is shown during product selection, cart review, or checkout, that displayed term controls for the applicable purchase.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law.
Paddle and Payment Processing
Paddle acts as merchant of record for public checkout transactions processed on our behalf.
As part of that role, Paddle may handle billing operations, charge collection, tax treatment, transactional communications, and certain customer self-service billing actions.
Subscriptions, Trials, and Cancellations
Subscription purchases may include a free trial if that trial is explicitly shown during the purchase flow.
If a subscription is canceled during a valid free trial, billing typically ends in accordance with the checkout terms or Paddle customer tooling presented for that subscription.
After a paid renewal or paid initial subscription term begins, charges are generally not refunded on a prorated basis unless required by law or approved through support review.
One-Time Purchases and Refund Windows
Certain one-time purchases may include a stated refund window when that window is shown during product selection, cart review, or checkout.
Where a refund window is displayed, requests made within that displayed period will be reviewed against the terms shown for that purchase.
Where a refund window is displayed the minimum refund window offered will always be 14 days and no less.
When a product offering includes a refund window you can expect those refunds to be processed within that window with no exceptions or conditons.
Where no refund window is displayed for a one-time purchase, fees are generally non-refundable after access has been granted unless required by law or approved through support review.
When Fees Are Generally Non-Refundable
Except where required by law, fees are generally non-refundable after digital access, entitlement delivery, or service access has been granted.
This includes cases where a customer has changed their mind after purchase, failed to review the product description before purchase, or no longer wishes to use the purchased service after access has been provisioned.
Billing Errors, Duplicate Charges, and Access Issues
If you believe you were charged in error, charged more than once for the same transaction, or did not receive the access associated with a completed purchase, contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed.
We may review transaction records, entitlement records, fulfillment activity, and provider records as part of that process.
How to Request Review
When requesting a refund-related review, include the email address used for purchase, the date of the transaction, the product or package involved, and a short explanation of the issue.
Providing complete details helps us and our payment providers review the request more efficiently.
